Barkway, Newsells, and Nuthamstead have combined to form a cricket club on land leased from the Cokenach estate - Cokenach CC.

The club welcomes new members (playing and non-playing) and would encourage anyone to pop by during a match where you can relax with a drink in our amazing pavilion. The pavilion has an alcohol serving bar over-looking the ground which is recognized as one of the most beautiful grounds in the Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire leagues. There is an adult side and over 80 kids in the colts teams. We often get families come to have picnics on the surrounding grounds during a match-day - we love the atmosphere this creates and welcome more.

The club is run by volunteers from the surrounding villages and welcomes support in any form, whether it be helping run the grounds, coaching kids (we can help fund training), or financial support (we are looking for sponsors). The grounds are so beautiful they have been used to host 4 weddings and a number of birthday parties - so please get in touch if you are interested in hiring.
